Independent Strategies works with clients to conduct political and survey research to identify the best strategies and timelines for communicating with citizens in targeted localities and states including -- as appropriate and cost-effective -- a mix of TV, radio, mail, phones, the Internet and/or earned media. Our priority is to minimize client costs and overhead so that the vast majority of resources are spent on direct communications, thereby enabling clients to achieve goals at lower cost.

Independent Strategies works closely with clients to develop and maintain political advantage. Our communications services include overseeing or providing media training, research triage, fact checks of opposition communications and deployment of surrogates and third-party validators. We also provide clients with debate preparation, including format negotiations, message goals, opening and closing statements, and post-debate news coverage.
